The Cunning Old Man and the Demi: This is an interesting story dealing with an old man and a Demi...obviously. There is a lot of stone throwing and dust creating, very interesting. The Demi and the man build a bridge and their are a lot of animals involved. Basically, at the end of the story a bunch of jackals swarm the Demi and kill him. It's a really odd story, not a fan.

The Shepard Judge: This is a cool story about community outreach and government. A king sees the work of the Shepard and basically promotes him as a real judge. This was an interesting story, a little shorter than the other, which was a nice break in place. The Shepard hears the trial of a woman and then somehow dies... Or something. I'm not too sure, it was a strange story.
The Priest's Young Son: This story is about a dying priest and his three sons. His sons are not super nice and do not grant his wish to pray over him after his death, only the youngest son prays over him. Like, what the heck guys? Not cool if you ask me, but way to go young son. And then at the end of the story, a cows milk heals a mother in law. It's pretty much your classic fairy tale if you think about it.
Mingrelian Proverbs: Wow! This is more like a poem. Super fun! I already like the layout and I haven't even started reading! I had to read the story a few times through to understand exactly what was happening. And realized that it's not a story, but more a collection of very short proverbs. I really like it! I'll give you the highlights. A old lady has no teeth, pretty normal I imagine in the time period. A dog barks at a wolf, pretty hypocritical considering they are related. I mean come on.
The Strong Man and the Dwarf: A winning title. My mind is already wondering to the circus, is that bad? This is a funny and quirky story. These two characters have a fun and characteristic relationship. The dwarf is kind of mean and bosses around the giant, an amazing image in itself. And the giant is a kind hearted man, who even apologizes for sneezing.
